It's mid-summer and we're in the midst of our annual focus on speed, and particularly locmotion (running and sprinting). While there are many secrets of speed, and we'll be covering a ton of them...knowing how your body likes to run, and what it's capable of right now, are both extremely important. We've actually got two challenges this week.
1. Explore the MasterClass with regard to runner types, and experiment with that information. See if you can determine what type of runner you are. And, you can even post a video clip of your running form in Member Submissions for a little analysis if you'd like.
2. Record your times in this week's 100 meter reps (4 of them) from the track workout. This will give you a solid indication of your current speed potential and we can use those times (as well as last week's 200's) for pace calculations in future sessions.
